Overview
Guardian Royal Exchange (“GRE”) gained control of Principal through its acquisition of PPP Assurance. However Principal did not fit its strategic objectives and also the management of Principal did not wish to work for a large assurance company.
Significance
The MBO enabled Principal to compete in the HNWI market as a management-owned independent company.
Our Role
Acted for the management team of Principal in their MBO from GRE.
